About The Dance Direction
The Dance Direction has been open since 1998, and was purchased by current owners, Debbi Boyd and Jan Henry in June, 2008.
Our studio is located in West Olympia in our newly renovated 4,000 squ. ft. building. We have 3 separate dance studios where all rooms are equipped with floating floors, constructed to provide our students the opportunity to dance without damaging their legs, ankles, or knees.
We are a competition studio and our instructors prepare students to perform in various competitions throughout the nation. Students who wish to compete in competitions, participate in our Show Company program. These students enroll in jazz, ballet, and additional classes to improve their techniques. We have phenomenal success with our performers.
We strive to take dance in the Olympia area to its highest levels and are committed to helping our students achieve their goals. As owners of the studio, we are also parents and grandparents of dancers and want this experience to be the very best for students and their families.
All students will be welcomed into our family of dancers.
